Plein Air Painting Problems - too much sun.

The pesky sun destroys this video. As the sun rises and brightens the background, the foreground goes dark. The same thing happens to my eyes when I am Plein Air Painting at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon. This sun can be the enemy to a plein air painter.  Here is the completed painting.
